The 2026 Diversity & Social Justice in Education Conference theme is Weaving Understanding: Academic Approaches to Equity.
This theme centers around building a world that is inclusive, equitable, and reflective on the current state of belonging. This conference aims to give students from all disciplines a space to discuss and present on topics that intersect with diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice matters. Participants are encouraged to include perspectives across diverse identities including but not limited to education, religion, nationality, political beliefs, ethnicity, (dis)ability, age, gender identity, or socioeconomic background.
Conference Highlights
* Over 40 student presenters! Students will present on various topics related to this year’s theme, including disability advocacy, poverty, women’s rights, education advocacy, and more!
* An exciting keynote presentation from Wendy Thompson, Director of Tribal Relations at Gonzaga 海角论坛.
