Summer 2026
Eligibility for Summer School Registration
A student who fails to achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.200 or higher at the end of the first year, or any time thereafter, will be dismissed. For the purpose of this rule, “first year” means the two terms following admission, regardless of the number of courses enrolled in or credits earned.
A student who is dismissed for academic reasons will not be allowed to enroll in courses for the next term. A student who enrolls in courses before all of his or her grades are submitted to the Registrar’s Office, does so at his or her own risk. If, when all grades are submitted, a student has been dismissed, the student’s registration will be cancelled and the fees and tuition paid for registration in that term will be refunded in full.
Eligible students may not enroll for more than sixteen (16) academic credit hours for the full summer term (all sessions combined) without specific written permission from the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. This rule also applies to dual degree students who will be dually enrolled in the law school and either the Graduate School of Business or the School of Professional Studies.
